The 2008 season is expected to be an exciting season for the NDG Senior Lynx team but our objectives of continued player development throughout the season and winning the Quebec provincials to attend this years Canadian Nationals in Oakville Ontario can't be done without your help.

Every year I'm truly in awe at the amount of support our team receives from our community at large, it's truly overwhelming. However to be honest without that support I myself being wheelchair bound due to my muscular dystrophy would not be able to be the head coach of the Senior Lynx due to the teams need to attend out of  town tournaments in order for the team to improve at a national level.

Our teams costs for this year, mostly due to my travel requirements and  the need for my wife Sharon to be present at all times to take care of my daily needs, are actually expected to be in excess of $15 000. Our parents and players are working hard to raise funds as we speak and have already raised almost $2000 but fundraisers such as the Antico Martini night are crucial for our team to reach our budgetary goals.

Our team has participated in three national championships in the past four years and that has been largely possible due to support from people and businesses in our community. So come on out on Wednesday April 16th and have a good time, a great meal, and become part of the Senior Lynx team!
