|
Introduction The visible part of NDG Minor Baseball are the coaches and players on the field. Yet, behind the scenes there are a few dedicated volunteers working hard year round, planning, organizing, attending meetings in NDG and elsewhere, and resolving problems year round in an attempt to make the season more enjoyable for all. Below is a list and some background information on the NDG Baseball Board of Directors for the year 2007. President Ken Quinn Home: 514-766-7888 Cell: 514-247-3296 E-mail: kquinn@cam.org Ken Quinn enthusiastically has agreed to take on the task of President of NDG Minor Baseball for 2007. Ken's experience as Vice-President of the St. Patrick's Day Parade ( United Irish Societies of Montreal Inc.) coupled with his stint as Assistant-Treasurer for NDG Minor Baseball last year make him one of our leagues most qualified volunteers for the position. His love of the game, thirst for knowledge about league affairs, and direct and organized leadership style will be to the leagues benefit for the 2007 season. V.P Operations James Rankine Home: 514-487-7010 Cell: 514-895-7010 E-mail: jamesrankine@colba.net James has been an active volunteer for the league for over nine years. Treasurer Donna Lesage Home: 514-489-5068 E-mail: lesagesim@sympatico.ca Donna has performed the treasurers job going on four years. The job as treasurer is an important one as it not only requires the recording and the reporting of the leagues financial activities, it also requires the overseeing of NDG Minor Baseball's major fundraising initiative, Tuesday night Bingo. Donna has also been very active in other areas of NDG MInor Baseball, co-convening divisions, management of teams, and assisting with special projects. Charlie Lesage, Donna's husband, has also been very active in the league assisting with special projects when needed. Both Donna and Charlie are two indispensable league volunteers. As per policy, all results from Police checks are kept private between the Safety Officer, the President of the League, Terry Doucet, and Lionel Geller.
